Demand forecast & Replenishment

For content on demand forecasting - projections of the amount of cash and in-kind contributions that country offices are expected to receive over the upcoming months, based on projected operational requirements and historical resourcing information -, and the Global Commodity Management Facility (GCMF) replenishment process, based on an analysis to determine the amount of food to be purchased under the GCMF Special Account to cover projected cash-funded demand for a region or corridor over a given time horizon, based on cash resourcing projections (resulting from the demand forecasting analysis) and available GCMF inventory.
