Joint Assessment Mission (JAM)

For content related to Joint Assessment Missions. A JAM is conducted by UNHCR and WFP to assess the food and non-food needs of refugees and other communities of concern to both organisations. A JAM is conducted if there is a new influx of refugees following a crisis; to assess the food security and self-reliance of long-term refugees; or to lay the groundwork for voluntary repatriation and reintegration.
