The decentralized evaluation has been commissioned by the WFP Niger Country Office and focuses on the Protracted Relief and Recovery Operation (PRRO) 200961 (2017-2019), while also covering the last year of implementation of previous PRRO 200583 (2016). It was intended for both accountability and learning and focuses on assessing: i) the relevance, coverage, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability and coherence of the intervention; ii) its results; and iii) the factors explaining the results. The evaluation, which makes a number of recommendations for the future, was conducted by IRAM, with fieldwork taking place in April 2018.
