This country portfolio evaluation (CPE) covered all WFP operations in the United Republic of Tanzania from 2011 to 2014, and the 2011–2015 country strategy, which was extended to 2016. It assessed WFP’s alignment and strategic positioning; the factors in and quality of its strategic decision-making; and the performance and results of the portfolio. The CPE was undertaken by an independent evaluation team, which conducted fieldwork in April 2015.
