The research involved a desk review of programme documents, adding specific questions to the WFP Food Security Outcome Monitoring (FSOM) survey, and in-depth interviews throughout 2021, including during field visits by local researchers to project sites in Nigeria in August 2021. The findings of the three-part series reflect the situation at that time. However, as in any other conflict setting, the context in Nigeria is unstable and dynamic from a political, economic and social perspective.
