Resúmen
A global literature review of programming in Honduras & Mozambique focused on youth was conducted, and WFP programming was also reviewed. Two country case studies were conducted, highlighting the different challenges young people face in different contexts, as well as the existing push/pull factors for engagement in violence. The report also addresses how WFP can use the tools at its disposal to contribute to addressing three sets of factors influencing young people’s engagement in violent activities: psycho-social dynamics, economic deprivation and prospects, and exclusion and disengagement of youth in governance.
