Charity Nziramasanga, a seasoned WFP employee, shares her journey and experiences in this interview. She started at WFP in 2006 as a national finance officer in Zimbabwe. Charity has served in various emergency situations, including the Haiti earthquake and cholera outbreak, where she learned the importance of staff wellness in crisis situations. She also served in Myanmar during the Rohingya crisis and in Iraq during the Mosul war. Charity emphasizes the importance of team building and communication in leadership roles. She also highlights the need for efficient communication channels within the organization and the importance of adapting rules to situations to support delivery to beneficiaries.
