The Community and Household Surveillance (CHS) aims to monitor the short and long term effects of food assistance interventions. Since January, 2007, CHS has been anchored within Lesotho Vulnerability Assessment Committee (LVAC) under the Disaster Management Authority (DMA), with the aim of strengthening and complimenting LVAC food security monitoring initiatives in the country.
