In 2009, WFP launched an emergency operation to respond to the high food price crises and a series of natural disasters that hit Bangladesh. The European Union contributed €22 million to this response which allowed WFP to reach 121,418 ultra-poor households. This photo album captures the human impact of the program through the lens of professional photographers.
