Resúmen
The World Food Programme (WFP) has been present in Myanmar since 1994, working to deliver life-saving food assistance in times of crisis, but also to build a long-term self sufficiency which is both home grown and sustainable. To survive a major disaster one must be prepared for it, and WFP's resources and expertise have not only helped millions to recover from natural calamities, but also improved readiness and resilience before they hit. At the heart of WFP's work in Myanmar is the belief that no child should see their potential curtailed by malnutrition - WFP believes in nutritious food, delivered to the most needy, at the most important development stages of life.
