Résumé
WFP’s interventions in social protection and disaster management system have indirectly improved resilience and crisis response for over 1.5 million people. WFP provided lifesaving food and cash assistance to 26,764 people in Grenada, Jamaica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. WFP’s innovative solution to link sovereign parametric insurance to social protection systems has provided USD 5.6 million in cash support, enhancing disaster response and recovery in Grenada, Jamaica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. WFP and Saint Lucia's government launched a pioneering anticipatory hurricane action system, setting a new standard for proactive disaster management in the Caribbean region.
