WFP works with the Government of India at the national and sub-national levels on improving the food-based social protection system's efficiency, improved nutrition outcomes, women’s economic empowerment and promotion of climate-resilient livelihoods. WFP demonstrates innovative solutions to support the government's efforts to address malnutrition and enhance social protection systems, by conducting pilots, generating evidence, and providing technical assistance to support the government’s efforts to scale proven solutions. WFP continues to facilitate mutual learning among states as well as with other countries through the sharing of best practices and fostering of south-south and triangular cooperation activities.
