In March 2024, WFP initiated the implementation of its Interim Country Strategic Plan (ICSP) 2024-2026. While the ICSP maintains objectives similar to the Transitional-ICSP, its strategic orientation is notably different, with a stronger emphasis on transition to local delivery mechanisms. WFP continues to contribute to social cohesion and inclusion through the provision of unconditional assistance to vulnerable population groups while working towards a responsible exit and transition. Supported by generous donor contributions, WFP provided emergency cash and voucher transfers in 2024, assisting 94,506 crisis-affected people, including refugees and host populations.
