Responsible digital finance offers an important avenue to eradicate financial inequality. This 10 -point action plan aims to end the continued economic exclusion of women, remove structural barriers to women’s active participation in the formal economy and achieve equality in access to responsible and sustainable financial services. The World Food Programme (WFP) has joined a coalition of stakeholders- the Better than Cash Alliance, UNCDF, UNSGSA, UN Women, Women’s World Banking and the World Bank- that are set on reaching financial equality for women.
