Résumé
Timor-Leste is facing high acute food insecurity due to inflated food costs, reduced purchasing power and the persistent impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and successive climate shocks. Every day households are finding it increasingly difficult to afford nutritious meals. The cost of a nutrient-dense diet (energy, protein, fat, and micronutrients) is now more than US$4 (78 percent) higher than in 2019. This poses a significant threat to nutrition and food security across the country.
