The evaluation of the country strategic plan for Armenia for 2019–2025 was conducted between March 2024 and February 2025 to serve accountability and learning purposes and to inform the preparation of the next country strategic plan. The evaluation found the Armenia CSP aligned with national needs, with WFP as a key Government partner in school feeding, food security and social protection. The school feeding programme is a success, with transfer of ownership to the Government underway. Budget revisions undermined programme coherence and monitoring was unfit to capture capacity strengthening results. Further support is needed towards decentralized entities, food systems and market development and shock‑responsive social protection.
