The Three-pronged Approach (3PA)

For content on the 3PA, the focus will be on a set of instruments, primarily consultative processes to understand local contexts and where to position integrated programmes, of which resilience can be one. It is done at three levels: Integrated Context Analysis (ICA), Seasonal Livelihood Programming (SLP) and Community-based Participatory Planning (CBPP). The ICA workshops use maps to break the country up into different regions, giving you different combinations of where you can join the humanitarian and development Nexus in each one of those regions.
